Strong winds that may cause damage are expected or occurring.

Strong outflow winds gusting to 90 km/h will develop this evening over the Fraser Valley, southeastern Metro Vancouver, Greater Victoria and the Southern Gulf Islands. Any falling snow during the period of strong winds may result in reduced visibility in blowing snow.

The strong winds will persist on Saturday.

Damage to buildings, such as to roof shingles and windows, may occur. Loose objects may be tossed by the wind and cause injury or damage.
