The only thing he needs to know is what size of prints you want ie: 4″x6″, 5″x7, 8″x10″, 11″x14″, 13″ x 19″, etc. The final size needed will dictate the file size he has to work with. Large print sizes will need a bigger file size to produce the best quality.
